He married Anna Maria Shuricht abt 1875. Anna was born in St. Louis, MO June 15, 1856. The June 1900 census lists Carl Eissfeldt as a minister living with his wife, Anna, and 5 children in a rented house in Milwaukee, WI. Both of Carl's parents are listed as being born in Germany.

Carl Eissfeldt and Anna Maria Shuricht had the following child:
