4. Heinrich (Henry)³ Reimer (Joachim (Jacob)², Chris¹) was born in Hanover Township, IL November 18, 1879. Heinrich died 1956 in Crystal Lake, IL, at 76 years of age. His body was interred 1956 in Barrington, IL, St. Pauls Cemetery.

He married Martha Klingenberg in Elgin, IL, October 18, 1915. Martha was born in Illinois June 22, 1898. Martha was the daughter of August Klingenberg and Emma Blaske. Martha died November 9, 1988 in Woodstock, IL, at 90 years of age. Her body was interred November 12, 1988 in Barrington, IL, St. Pauls Cemetery. Henry's obituary states he was born November 18, 1879 in Hanover Township, IL and died at age 76. He had been a resident of Crystal Lake, IL for 29 years. It also states he married the former Martha Klingenberg October 18, 1915 in Elgin, IL.

Heinrich (Henry) Reimer and Martha Klingenberg had the following children:

9 i. Lydia⁴ Reimer. She married Rossman.

+ 10 ii. Wilmer Henry Reimer was born January 04, 1916.

11 iii. Alvin Reimer was born in Cary, Illinois 1917. Alvin died 1919 in Illinois, at 2 years of age. His body was interred 1919 in Barrington, IL, St. Paul's Cemetery. The January 1920 Barrington, Illinois census lists Alvin as 2 years and 4/12 months old. However, Alvin evidently died at an early age since he is not mentioned in any future census. Further, Alvin's father's obituary states he was preceeded in death by one son.

12 iv. Walter A. Reimer was born July 25, 1919. Walter died October 18, 1996 in McHenry, IL, at 77 years of age. He married Lorraine Bloese.

13 v. Esther E. Reimer was born in Barrington, IL March 3, 1921. Esther died December 8, 1968 in Elgin, Illinois, at 47 years of age. Her body was interred December 11, 1968 in Woodstock, McHenry County Memorial Park. She married Lester Jesse in Cary, Illinois, January 21, 1950. 14 vi. Ruth Reimer was born April 13, 1923. She married James D. Landgraf. James was born in Illinois December 7, 1914. James was the son of Joseph Landgraf. James died July 15, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, at 54 years of age.

15 vii. Ralph Fred Reimer was born in Barrington, Illinois September 18, 1926. Ralph died April 23, 1995 in Lady Lake, Florida, at 68 years of age. His body was interred April 26, 1995 in Bushnell, Florida, Florida National Cemetery. He married Betty Rita Hanlon in Unknown. Betty was born in Unknown August 16, 1916. Betty died May 14, 2009 in Leesburg, FL, at 92 years of age. Her body was interred May 18, 2009 in Bushnell, FL, Florida National Cemetery. Ralph served in the US Navy from September 14, 1944 to June 7, 1946 where he was discharged at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Illinois. He was very active in the VFW but died of leukemia. He is buried in the Florida National Military Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

Ralph's wife Betty, is buried in the same plot at Florida's National Cemetery at Bushnell, FL as her husband Ralph Reimer (Section 201, Site 1119). Betty's last name on the tombstone is Hemenway, so she must have remarried after Ralph died in 1995. The Social Security death index shows Betty's last residence at death to be Leesburg, Fl 34748.
