22. Robert Pershing⁴ McBurney (Robert Ernest³, George Washington², Hamilton¹) was born in Butler, OK November 19, 1918. Robert died February 10, 1987 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, at 68 years of age. His body was interred February 16, 1987 in Elgin, IL, Lakewood Memorial Cemetary.

He married Billie Joyce Venters in Elgin, IL, May 8, 1948. Billie was born in West Frankfort, IL October 23, 1926. Bob and Billie were divorced in 1968 in Elgin, IL.

Robert Pershing McBurney and Billie Joyce Venters had the following children:

+ 30 i. William Robert⁵ McBurney was born August 6, 1949.

31 ii. Cheryl Jean McBurney was born in Elgin, IL January 13, 1951.

32 iii. Bob Michael McBurney was born in Elgin, IL April 7, 1952. Bob died September 28, 1997 in Elgin, IL, at 45 years of age.

33 iv. Linda Joyce McBurney was born in Elgin, IL May 9, 1953. She married Ronald Gene Bloom June 16, 1972. Ronald was born in Rockford, IL April 15, 1954. (See Ronald Gene Bloom for the continuation of this line.)

34 v. Barbara McBurney was born in Elgin, IL June 7, 1954. She married Larry Rodman Larkey February 8, 1988. Larry was born in Los Angeles, CA March 11, 1939.

+ 35 vi. Tommy Wayne McBurney was born July 2, 1955.
